This is a stunning part of the Suffolk coast where you can walk the empty shingle beaches that development has not yet touched. In Aldeburgh itself there are some great little places to eat, and there is the annual Aldeburgh Arts Festival. If you are in the area and you like untouched coastal beauty you cannot miss a visit to Shingle Street. This is a designated Sight of Special Scientific Interest due to the rare flora that survive on the untouched beaches.
